If this is the first time you are viewing my little corner of the internet, then let me introduce myself and we’ll be friends in no time!
My name is Zoe and I come from the very wet and windy Northern Ireland. And while I am a recent English Literature graduate from Queen’s University Belfast, I still rely heavily on spell-check.
After finishing my degree in June 2015, I had to move out of my little flat in Belfast and back home with my parents and brother (and Butterscotch the Norwegian Forest Cat). But as soon as I returned home I realised I wasn’t quite finished with student life… and on that crazy whim decided to embark on a Master’s degree. Unfortunately my bank account didn’t agree with this decision and I have had to commute to class rather than live in my own place nearby. At least I get to scrounge free meals!
My bedroom is compiled of boxes upon boxes of crap I appear to have accumulated throughout these last three years which I just can’t find any space for. Books have taken over the entire house – seriously, I have a “bedside table” which is a few anthologies high and the perfect coffee mug resting place. My bank account has been overdrawn since I first discovered student loans, which it turns out does not make you rich, but lulls you into a false sense of accountancy skills. This was an especially dangerous mix considering I am a confessed online-shopping addict and have a constant yearning for new make-up.
If you were expecting to discover one of those elusive bloggers who seems to have her life perfectly together then I’m sorry to disappoint you! But what I can offer you is a friendly space where you can read about my honest opinions on all things beauty, a peek at stuff I happen to like or have bought lately, perhaps some book reviews and have little discussions about life in general.
I hope you like what you read and feel encouraged to subscribe and check out my other social media. If need be, you can also contact me personally by emailing email@example.com.
Lots of love,
